My family have farmed here at Home Farm for generations and it was my very first home. Growing up in the beautiful countryside I have always loved the changes and challenges that the different seasons bring to farm life and working with animals. Having moved away for school and university, I travelled the world working in the racehorse industry but eventually returned to work on the family farm here in Braunston. My passion for quality livestock has led me to breed, produce and show my stock.
I met Matthew at a Christmas Primestock Show. He had won the Cattle Championship and I had been lucky enough to win the Sheep Championship. In 2018, we got married in the village church and had a marquee reception on the farm. We now run a flock of sheep on the farm.
Our daughters - Grace and Zara are now the next generation enjoying life on the farm. Grace is just learning to ride her pony Sonic and Zara will be learning to walk quite soon! We have cattle, sheep and ponies on the farm and our daughters have a few chickens for the all-important free range eggs for your breakfast!
We feel incredibly lucky to live in such a special place and would love to share it with you for a relaxing and peaceful glamping holiday.
The Grand Union Canal and the Jurassic Way run through the farm and we have an abundance of wildlife and wonderful views here. We think our shepherd hut is just the most perfect way to enjoy the area combining both the heritage and a bit of luxury from the field.
